This type of impeller is typically made from corrosion-resistant materials suchas stainless steel, carbon steel, or high-chromium alloys, designed for handling corrosive media. This allows for coreless two-part mold fabrication, reducing manufacturing cost and weight, while also facilitating easy cleaning of the flow passage.
