Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers about ANSI B73.1 process pump interchangeability with Goulds 3196 & Durco Mark III, material selection (CF8M, CD4MCuN, Hastelloy C, Titanium), lead times, reverse engineering, international shipping, and technical specifications.
Below you will find the most commonly asked questions about ANSI process pumps, replacement parts, and our engineering services. Whether you are evaluating Goulds 3196 interchangeability, selecting materials for corrosive chemical service, checking lead times for urgent MRO replacements, or planning a plant-wide pump upgrade — we have answers backed by real engineering experience. Our FAQ covers four key areas: pump products & specifications, ordering & delivery logistics, technical support & field service, and company quality & certifications.
Products & Specifications
Yes. Our ANSI B73.1 process pumps are 100% dimensionally interchangeable with Goulds 3196 (G196 series) and Durco/Flowserve Mark III (D Mark III series). This includes all mounting dimensions, nozzle locations, shaft centerlines, and baseplate bolt patterns. You can drop in a Yingsiman pump without modifying piping, baseplates, couplings, or drivers.
We offer a full materials portfolio covering virtually all chemical process applications: CF8M (316 Stainless Steel), CD4MCuN (Duplex SS), CN7M (Alloy 20), WCB (Carbon Steel), Hastelloy B, Hastelloy C-276, Nickel 200, Titanium (Grade 2 & Pd7B), and Zirconium 702. All materials come with full mill test reports (MTRs) and traceability documentation.
Our G196 series covers up to 7,000 GPM (1,590 m3/h) flow, 730 ft (223 m) head, and 700 degrees F (371 degrees C). The D Mark III series extends to 7,500 GPM (1,700 m3/h), 990 ft (300 m) head, and temperatures from -73 degrees C to 370 degrees C. We cover all ANSI frame sizes from STX through XLTX.
Yes. We support single and double mechanical seals, including cartridge seals from John Crane, EagleBurgmann, Chesterton, and Flowserve. For difficult services (crystallizing fluids, high temperature, abrasive slurries), we offer the TaperBore PLUS seal chamber with integral cooling/heating jacket, external flush plans (API Plan 32, 62), and tandem/double seal configurations with barrier fluid systems.
Absolutely. All pumps are designed and manufactured to ANSI/ASME B73.1 specifications. We comply with API 610 (where applicable), HI 14.6 for hydraulic performance testing, and maintain CE marking compliance for European markets. ATEX certification is available for pumps destined for potentially explosive atmospheres.
Ordering & Delivery
Standard lead times are 6-10 weeks for complete pumps, compared to 16-26 weeks typical of major OEMs. For MRO replacement parts, we offer an expedited 48-hour dispatch program for stocked components. Rush orders can be processed in as little as 3-4 weeks depending on material availability and the complexity of the order.
Send your pump data sheet, serial number, or dimensional drawing to our sales team via the Contact page or directly by email. Our engineers will cross-reference your requirements, confirm material selection, and provide a detailed quotation within 24-48 hours. We can work from your existing pump tag numbers, OEM part numbers, or performance specifications.
Standard terms are 30% T/T deposit with order, 70% before shipment. For established accounts, we offer net 30 terms after a credit review. We accept T/T wire transfers and irrevocable letters of credit (L/C at sight) for international orders. Contact us for project-specific payment schedules on larger orders.
Yes. We ship to over 50 countries worldwide. We handle all export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and fumigation certificates. Our logistics partners (DHL, FedEx, sea freight forwarders) ensure reliable delivery by air, sea, or courier. Typical transit times: 5-7 days by air, 25-35 days by sea.
There is no minimum order quantity for MRO replacement parts — we understand that maintenance teams often need single components urgently. For complete pumps, we accept orders from one unit. Volume pricing discounts are available for annual supply agreements and multi-unit project orders.
Technical Support & Service
Send us your process data: fluid name, concentration, temperature, pH, and any known corrosion issues. Our application engineers will recommend the optimal material based on corrosion resistance data, industry experience, and NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 requirements for sour service. We provide a written material recommendation with supporting corrosion rate data.
Yes. Every pump ships with a comprehensive IOM (Installation, Operation, Maintenance) manual. Our engineers can provide remote video support for commissioning, alignment verification, and troubleshooting at no additional cost. On-site commissioning supervision is available for larger projects — please discuss with your sales representative.
Every pump undergoes: (1) Hydrostatic pressure test at 1.5x design pressure, (2) Dimensional inspection against OEM specifications, (3) Impeller dynamic balance to ISO 1940 G6.3, (4) Material verification via PMI (Positive Material Identification). Optional: Performance testing per HI 14.6 (ISO 9906 Grade 1), NDE (LPI, radiography), and full inspection documentation packages.
Yes, this is one of our core capabilities. We can reverse engineer any pump component from a physical sample, dimensional drawing, or 3D scan. Our process includes material identification (OES analysis), 3D measurement (CMM/laser scanning), pattern making, casting, machining, and first-article inspection. Lead time for reverse-engineered parts is typically 4-8 weeks depending on complexity.
All Yingsiman pumps and parts carry an 18-month warranty from date of shipment or 12 months from commissioning, whichever occurs first. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions as specified in the purchase order. Extended warranty options are available for critical service applications.
Company & Quality
Our manufacturing facility is located in Jinan, Shandong Province, China — a major industrial center with a strong casting and machining supply chain. All engineering, quality control, and assembly are managed in-house. We maintain a dedicated export quality team and regular third-party audits to international standards.
Our facility operates under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system. We maintain material traceability per EN 10204 3.1, perform PMI on all alloy castings, and can provide full MTR (Material Test Report) packages. Our testing procedures comply with ASME Section IX for welding and ASNT SNT-TC-1A for NDE personnel qualification.
We qualify all material suppliers through an approved vendor list (AVL) with periodic audits. Every incoming heat of material is verified by PMI before machining. Critical sub-suppliers (castings, forgings, seals) are subject to the same quality requirements. We maintain full lot traceability from raw material to finished component — every part can be traced back to its mill heat number.
Yes. We can provide customer references upon request for specific industries and regions, subject to client confidentiality agreements. Our pumps are operating successfully in chemical plants, refineries, pulp & paper mills, and mining operations across North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Contact our sales team to request references relevant to your application.
We maintain a strategic spare parts inventory for common components and can manufacture any part on demand. After-sales support includes: 24/7 emergency technical response, remote troubleshooting via video call, spare parts cross-reference service, and proactive reorder notifications for wear components. We recommend maintaining a critical spares inventory — our engineers can help you determine the right stocking levels for your installed base.
