YSM ISO PROCESS PUMP

DN Series Non-Clogging Process Pump

YSM DN is a non-clogging single-stage pump platform for large solids, fibrous slurry and gas-containing liquids or slurries, including selected self-priming duties, subject to final configuration review.

PRODUCT DATA

YSM DN published range

The series envelope is an early screening reference. Passage, duty and installation must be verified for the selected size.

Parameter YSM DN series range
Capacity Up to 2,000 m³/h
Head Up to 90 m
Pressure Up to 16 bar
Temperature Up to 180°C

Confirm solids size, fiber length, gas content, liquid properties, materials, seal and exact installation interfaces before production.

AHLSTAR NPP/T Replacement Compatibility

YSM DN can be engineered for 100% replacement compatibility with corresponding verified AHLSTAR NPP/T configurations. Exact hydraulic, solids-passage, material and dimensional interfaces are verified for the installed pump before production.

YSM manufacturing and engineering support

Project support can include casting development, precision machining, hydraulic geometry review, material control, assembly, dimensional inspection and testing when specified.

Non-Clogging Selection Starts With What Must Pass Through the Pump

A non-clogging pump is not selected only from capacity and head. The DN review starts with the solids and fibers that must pass through the hydraulic components, then checks liquid properties, gas content, operating duty, materials, seal arrangement and installation interfaces.

For an NPP/T replacement project, the existing model and installed geometry are used as the reference. Passage and dimensional compatibility are confirmed for the exact configuration before manufacturing.

Describe the Pumped Medium

  • Maximum solids size and approximate concentration
  • Fiber type and approximate fiber length
  • Gas or entrained air, viscosity and temperature
  • Corrosive or abrasive properties and history of plugging

What Must Match on an Existing Installation

Suction/discharge Size, standard and orientation
Pump position Shaft centerline and footprint
Driver Rotation, coupling and motor/driver
Seal Existing seal arrangement
Passage Solids/fiber requirement
Materials Wetted material versus medium
Documentation Nameplate, GA, drawing, curve and site photos

Where the installed pump has a special self-priming, degassing or solids-handling configuration, identify that arrangement from drawings, photographs or installed-pump data before confirming a replacement.

DN vs DW

DN is the preferred review route where clogging and passage are the primary risks. DW is preferred where abrasive wear is the dominant problem. Where both occur, submit the actual solids and operating data for engineering review.
