BUYER QUESTIONS

Goulds 3700 Replacement FAQ

Can you replace an existing Goulds 3700 pump?

Yes. Start with the installed size, duty point or purchasing specification you already have. Engineering can confirm any additional information after the initial RFQ.

Is the replacement API 610 OH2?

The replacement platform is a single-stage, overhung, centerline-mounted OH2 process-pump configuration for API 610 / ISO 13709 applications.

Can you match my existing performance curve?

Yes. Flow, head, speed, impeller selection and operating range can be reviewed against the existing curve or required duty point.

Can you supply 3700 replacement parts?

Replacement scope can include complete pumps and selected casing, impeller, shaft, applicable cover and drawing-based metallic seal components. Wear rings and bearing-related components remain technical construction references, not standalone supply.

Do you support high-temperature service?

Configurations are available for severe-service duties within the published series envelope, including temperatures up to 425°C.

Do you offer low-flow configurations?

Yes. Low-flow configurations can be selected for applications that are unsuitable for conventional enclosed-impeller hydraulics.

Is 3700i the same as the older 3700?

No automatic interchangeability should be assumed. The installed configuration should be identified and reviewed before selecting the replacement.

What information should I send for a replacement quotation?

Start with the existing pump size, purchasing description or duty information you already have. Additional technical details can be confirmed after engineering review.
