AHLSTAR-Equivalent ISO Process Pumps

Our AHLSTAR-equivalent platform covers ISO 5199 process duties ranging from clean and lightly contaminated liquids to abrasive slurry, fibers, sludge and large solids. Each proposal is selected around the required hydraulic duty, material, seal arrangement and installation.

Three Duty-Based Configurations

Series Service Capacity Head Pressure Temperature
AC General process service Up to 11,000 m³/h / 48,400 US gpm Up to 160 m / 525 ft 16 / 25 bar, 230 / 360 psi Up to 180°C / 355°F
DW Wear-resistant service Up to 7,000 m³/h / 31,000 US gpm Up to 110 m / 360 ft 16 / 25 bar, 230 / 360 psi Up to 180°C / 355°F
DN Non-clogging service Up to 2,000 m³/h / 8,800 US gpm Up to 90 m / 295 ft 16 bar / 230 psi Up to 180°C / 355°F

Selection condition: Pressure capability depends on pump size and material. Published limits describe the available platform and do not replace duty-specific hydraulic and mechanical selection.

Engineering Review

Send the existing model, flow, head, speed, liquid, temperature, solids content, material, flange standard, seal arrangement and dimensional drawings. Our team will confirm the appropriate AC, DW or DN configuration.

How to Select an AHLSTAR-Equivalent Pump

Start with the liquid and duty rather than the old pump name alone. AC is normally considered for general process service, DW for abrasive or erosive slurry, and DN for large solids, long fibers or clogging risk. The final configuration is selected after hydraulic and mechanical review.

Selection Data That Speeds Up Quotation

  • Normal, rated, minimum and maximum flow, plus total differential head or suction and discharge pressure
  • Liquid composition, density, viscosity, vapor pressure, temperature range and pH
  • Solids concentration, particle size, fiber length, abrasiveness and any entrained gas
  • NPSH available, suction conditions, flange standard, nozzle orientation and installation dimensions
  • Required metallurgy, shaft seal arrangement, motor data, electrical supply and hazardous-area requirements

Application Fit

  • AC: clean or lightly contaminated liquids, viscous liquids, fibrous slurry, large solids, gas-containing liquids and selected self-priming duties.
  • DW: corrosive, abrasive and viscous slurries where wear resistance and materials selection are critical.
  • DN: sludges, long fibers, large solids and gas-containing liquids where a wide non-clogging passage is required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which AHLSTAR-equivalent configuration should I request?

Send the liquid data and duty point first. We will recommend AC, DW or DN after checking solids, fibers, abrasion, corrosion risk and the required flow and head.

Do the published AC, DW and DN limits apply to every material?

No. Pressure and temperature capability depend on pump size, material, seal arrangement and project requirements. The final selection is confirmed for the proposed configuration.

Can you quote against an existing installed pump?

Yes. A nameplate photo, GA drawing, pump curve, material list and seal information help us check dimensional and hydraulic compatibility before quotation.
