MC Series Equivalent Engineered Pump Solutions

MC-series equivalent pump solutions are engineered for selected industrial duties that require dependable hydraulic performance and robust mechanical construction.

Application-Specific Configuration

Hydraulic selection, materials, seal arrangement and dimensional compatibility are reviewed for each project. We do not apply unverified competitor performance data to a replacement proposal.

Information Required for Selection

  • Existing pump model and nameplate
  • Rated and operating flow and head
  • Speed, liquid, temperature and solids content
  • Material and corrosion or wear concerns
  • Suction and discharge flange requirements
  • Seal arrangement, drawings and installation photos

Typical Project Scope

Selected industrial process and replacement duties where the existing model, duty, materials and installation can be verified.

Materials and Manufacturing

Available manufacturing materials include WCB, CF8M (cast 316 stainless steel), CD4M duplex stainless steel, CN7M, Hastelloy, CZ100, Titanium, Zirconium. Our scope can include casting development, machining, dimensional inspection, assembly, hydrostatic testing and performance testing when specified.

Compatibility Note

Final dimensional and hydraulic compatibility must be confirmed against the required model, duty point, material, flange standard and project specification.

MC Series Equivalent Pump Selection

MC-series replacement projects are normally reviewed for high-pressure clean-liquid duties where stable hydraulic operation, pressure containment and installation details must be verified. Typical evaluation cases include boiler-feed, condensate extraction, auxiliary power-plant service, desalination feedwater and high-pressure general industrial water service.

Selection Data That Speeds Up Quotation

  • Normal, minimum and maximum flow, total head, suction pressure, discharge pressure and required operating margin
  • Water or process-liquid analysis, temperature, dissolved gas, solids content and corrosion risk
  • NPSH available, start-stop frequency, expected operating hours and any transient temperature conditions
  • Number of stages, nozzle position, seal or balance arrangement, driver speed, motor power and control method
  • Existing pump curve, nameplate, GA drawing, cross-section and baseplate or coupling dimensions

Typical Application Scenarios

  • Main or auxiliary boiler-feed service for industrial, biomass or combined-cycle power plants
  • Condensate extraction and auxiliary water service in power and industrial facilities
  • Desalination feedwater and selected high-pressure clean-water duties

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MC suitable for slurry or fibrous liquids?

MC-type projects are generally reviewed as high-pressure clean-liquid duties. If the liquid contains fibers, large solids or abrasive slurry, send the solids data so a more appropriate hydraulic platform can be considered.

Why do you need the minimum and maximum duty, not just the rated point?

The operating range affects hydraulic selection, NPSH margin, stage arrangement, motor sizing and reliability. A single rated point may not show start-up or low-flow conditions.

Can you assess an existing MC installation without a complete drawing set?

Yes. Start with clear nameplate and installation photos, the pump curve, process data and key coupling or nozzle dimensions. We will identify the remaining information needed for review.
