SNS Series Equivalent Engineered Pump Solutions
SNS-series equivalent solutions are engineered according to application duty, material requirements and verified dimensional compatibility.
Application-Specific Configuration
Hydraulic selection, materials, seal arrangement and dimensional compatibility are reviewed for each project. We do not apply unverified competitor performance data to a replacement proposal.
Information Required for Selection
- Existing pump model and nameplate
- Rated and operating flow and head
- Speed, liquid, temperature and solids content
- Material and corrosion or wear concerns
- Suction and discharge flange requirements
- Seal arrangement, drawings and installation photos
Typical Project Scope
Selected process and replacement applications where pump model, duty, materials and installation details can be reviewed.
Materials and Manufacturing
Available manufacturing materials include WCB, CF8M (cast 316 stainless steel), CD4M duplex stainless steel, CN7M, Hastelloy, CZ100, Titanium, Zirconium. Our scope can include casting development, machining, dimensional inspection, assembly, hydrostatic testing and performance testing when specified.
Compatibility Note
Final dimensional and hydraulic compatibility must be confirmed against the required model, duty point, material, flange standard and project specification.
SNS Series Equivalent Pump Selection
SNS-series replacement enquiries are typically reviewed for general and industrial process service handling clean or slightly contaminated liquids, viscous liquids and fibrous slurries. The final pump is selected against the required flow, head, NPSH margin, material, seal arrangement and installation details.
Selection Data That Speeds Up Quotation
- Rated, minimum and maximum flow; total differential head; suction conditions and discharge pressure
- Liquid composition, density, viscosity, temperature, vapor pressure and any fibers, particles or entrained gas
- NPSH available, pipeline details, flange sizes, nozzle orientation and required baseplate dimensions
- Wetted materials, corrosion risk, seal type, flush or cooling needs, motor data and operating frequency
- Existing nameplate, pump curve, GA drawing and photos of the installed assembly
Typical Application Scenarios
- General industrial liquid transfer and auxiliary process service
- Water and wastewater duties involving clean or slightly contaminated liquids
- Viscous-liquid and fibrous-slurry duties after hydraulic and solids review
- Pulp and paper, chemical process and bio-product applications subject to material and seal selection
Frequently Asked Questions
Can SNS handle fibrous process liquid?
Fibrous liquids can be reviewed, but fiber length, concentration, liquid viscosity and the required passage size must be supplied before a configuration is confirmed.
Why is NPSH information important for SNS selection?
NPSH margin helps determine whether the selected hydraulic can operate without unacceptable cavitation risk at the actual suction conditions.
Can you supply a complete pump or only replacement parts?
Both are possible. Tell us whether you need a bare pump, complete pump, wet-end parts or a power-end component, and provide the installed-pump information for verification.
