SULZER & AHLSTROM REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
Replace an installed Sulzer ZPP double-suction, axially split pump. Match the duty, casing interfaces, rotation and driver arrangement, with a clear scope for complete-pump or component supply.

Delivery follows the agreed order schedule; the 48-hour review starts with sufficient pump and duty information. The project GA records the exact installed interfaces.
01 / IDENTIFY THE CONFIGURATION
ZPP is a double-suction, axially split, single-stage configuration. The exact model, size and assembly data establish the replacement route.
Installed configurationFull installed model, size and serial number
Information to sendNameplate, duty, GA and rotation shown with the viewing direction.
Installed configurationDriver, base or selected pump components
Information to sendIdentify what stays and provide its dimensions, drawings and condition.
Installed-family technical reference: Sulzer ZPP range.
02 / ENGINEERING FIT
The supply boundary determines which interfaces must match. A complete replacement and a component replacement need different approval information.
Flow, head, speed, suction pressure, fluid properties and available NPSH for the installation.
Nozzle sizes and orientation, split-case geometry, centerline, mounting footprint and service access.
Rotation with its viewing direction, shaft and coupling dimensions, driver rating and arrangement.
Part numbers, BOM, assembly drawings and mating dimensions for any components that remain.
Your report identifies the proposed configuration, agreed dimensions, supply boundaries and any data still required. Approval drawings establish the manufacturing basis.
03 / SCOPE & DOCUMENTS
Choose the route that matches the condition of your installed equipment. Record supplied and retained items in the quotation and approval drawings.
For an obsolete unit, a duplicate duty or a wider replacement. Define the driver, coupling, guard and baseplate scope.
Request pump replacementFor a serviceable retained assembly. Send part numbers, BOM or assembly drawings and describe the mating interfaces.
Request a component reviewDuty and interface drawings, material and seal specification, driver requirements and a clear equipment list.
Specified material identification and traceability, inspections and test reports to the agreed project requirements.
Equipment identification, packing list, operating documentation and the written delivery and warranty terms.
WARRANTY
18 months from shipment / 12 months from commissioningWhichever occurs first.
Recorded in the written supply terms.
Start with the model or nameplate, duty and available drawings.
From sufficient information, with the fit and supply scope recorded.
Confirm drawings, materials, inspections, tests and delivery milestones.
Manufacture and delivery follow the agreed order schedule.
04 / START YOUR REPLACEMENT
Send the information you have. Your series is preselected; unknown technical details can be added later.
Send your email and the information you have. Model, company and files are optional to start.

Send the exact model, part numbers or BOM, assembly drawings and the dimensions of mating components. The component proposal identifies what is supplied and the interfaces with the equipment you retain.
State clockwise or counterclockwise together with the viewing direction, and mark it on a photo or drawing. A direction without a viewing reference can be ambiguous.
Both routes can be reviewed. Define whether the motor, coupling, guard and baseplate are supplied or retained. Include the driver and installation information for the chosen boundary.
Start with the nameplate, clear component photos, assembly drawings and available measurements. We identify the additional details needed to define the component and its mating interfaces.
The review includes split-joint geometry, fit and alignment interfaces, shaft and rotating-element details, sealing and the condition of retained parts. Provide the assembly information and identify the proposed supply boundary.
The proposal and approval drawings record duty, dimensions, materials, supplied equipment and retained interfaces. The order also defines inspections, test records, operating documents, delivery milestones and written warranty terms.
