For a Goulds 3196, the family name alone does not define the shaft, frame, impeller or seal chamber. Confirm the complete pump size, frame, shaft diameter and length, impeller configuration, seal chamber, materials, base, coupling and speed. Durco Mark III: Group and Data to Confirm
For Durco Mark III, confirm the group, pump size, part position, impeller adjustment, shaft sleeve, seal chamber, bearing housing, lubrication and the parts that will remain in service. Complete Power End vs. Individual Components
A complete power end may have manufacturer-defined interfaces, while an individual bearing, shaft, housing or sleeve requires a different level of verification. The RFQ should state whether the requirement is for a complete assembly, rotor, bearing frame or individual replacement part.

An OEM number is a starting point, not the only evidence. Confirm the drawing revision, material, seal configuration, frame/group and part scope. In a mixed installed fleet, classify each line as documented, pending measurement or not compatible. Only after that classification should inventory be consolidated or the term interchangeable replacement parts be used.
